Clean and friendly staff. Food selection just wasn’t up to snuff nor near enough variety to be called a buffet. Just travelin through!

Great vegetarian options. But they have egg in the fried rice. If you order from the menu your rice will come from the buffet, and the vegetarian options are not in the buffet. The germ issues with the buffet are unavoidable. And the rice probably won't be fresh, sometimes it feels undercooked. They have fully fledged vegetables spring rolls, no shrimp, no egg. Beware of the egg rolls, they are pork eggrolls. They also have very good made to order avocado rolls.General Tso tofu and and Szechuan are also not on the menu, although you can ask for it. Ordering from the menu is also a bit cumbersome as everything is geared for the buffet. The backroom looks nicer, but it's shut down when it's not busy. Overall, it's still one of the better vegetarian restaurants around, even if it doesn't look the part.

It is now called East Asia. Thought it had fresh made sushi bar, but it's just very nasty sushi sitting on buffet. The food on buffet didn't look appetizing and tasted gross. The only reason I went is because I saw on the news that it was open and they had a fresh sushi bar. They say they were the only ones in town to do that, but Bankok used to have sushi on the buffet when they were open and the time I went to Panda Buffet, they had sushi on buffet as well. Never going back there again.

Good service and food

Food is old and dried up. Sugar and salt laden items give a sense to mask a taste.

Good buffet ... Needed more of a selection of sushi out though.. friendly employees

Food not good, bland.

This WAS my favorite Chinese restaurant. It used to be named Peking and was recently remodeled and renamed to East Asia. The interior has been modernized and looks great! The sushi has been slightly upgraded. The dishes on the buffet look very familiar with a few new things and modifications. The taste however has changed for the worst. All of the dishes tasted bland. Both the Tiny Spicy and General Tso Chicken were dry, hard and had little flavor. I literally got tired of chewing. The Tiny Spicy Chicken tasted nothing like what I know it to be. Two of the bowls I grabbed were dirty and this was there first day reopening. Not sure how that happened. I'm very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating here again on a weekly basis. I'll wait a while and go back in a month or so to see if things have improved.

Nasty is all I can say!!! All the way down to the sweet tea. Will NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!

Not the worst but nothing to write home about! The fried sushi roll was the best thing there- no honoey or orange chicken (my husband was disappointed-those are both his favorites!)

Manager licked fingers, stuck them into the ice cream bucket, fed a baby that ice cream before licking her fingers again & repeating the process. NO THANK YOU!

Best Asian buffet in Alexandria, we've been to them all and like this one the best, says my Asian wife. Great varity. Blue bell ice cream, that is just at the right temperature.
